Skin Silks

Skin Silks

This month we are featuring our Skin Silks.  These wonderful sticks can help with any skin needs.

They come in both a large size and a take it with you purse size.

This line is designed to address the many needs of varying skin types, while adding an aromatherapy element for our emotional well-being. Formulated with high end ingredients such as Kokum Butter, known for its superior emolliency and healing benefits, Avocado Butter, rich in fatty essential acids, Cocoa Butter, organic Beeswax, rich carrier oils such as Jojoba, Avocado, and Rosehip seed. We do not use vegetable fat in our sticks, because we believe your skin deserves better. After all, it is the largest organ of the body and is continually exposed to pollutants, environmental influences, stress and chemicals. Treat it with care, the way nature intended. Recommended for dry skins, stretch marks, eczema, cracked nipples, cracked heels, and many more uses, but no room to list them all! The large weighs 75g, the purse size is 15g.

Darlene, one of our customers has this to say:

"My daughter got me the Skin Silk Relief at the end of Jan. I use it on my hands after I have had a long day crocheting and also on my back. I have to say it is the most wonderful thing I have tried to releive pain!! She bought me the small stick and it is nearly all gone already!!!! I can't wait to try some of your other products!!!!"

Beautiful Fall

Beautiful Fall

Fall is a beautiful time of year here in the Rocky Mountains of Canada.  We have cold nights and warm days with plenty of sunshine.  Fall is also the time of the Harvest.  Our suppliers are busy bringing in their crops and preparing them naturally so we can add them to our soaps, seltzers and skin products.  Our suppliers harvest with love, just as we prepare each handmade product for you.

Happy Fall everyone.

Canmore Miners' Day - Parade, BBQ, Celebration

Canmore Miners' Day - Parade, BBQ, Celebration

Thirty-three years ago, on July 13, 1979, after nearly a century of operation, the Canmore coalmines closed.

It’s a day that is still remembered as Black Friday and in honour of Canmore’s coal mining past and the miners and their families, the annual Miners’ Day Reunion is once again scheduled for July 13-14.

Coal mining formally began in Canmore in 1887 with the opening of the No. 1 Mine, located in the confines of Canmore Creek.
